Summer Menus

The sun is shining (most of the time!) and our head chef, Dan, and his talented team are taking advantage of the abundance of fresh seasonal ingredients by creating appetising and inspiring dishes to feature on our Summer Menus.  They use quality fresh ingredients sourced from local farms and estates wherever possible.

Our Lunchtime & Evening Menu includes new tantalising starters such as Homemade Pork, Apple & Sage Scotch Egg, with celeriac remoulade and bois boudran sauce, and Confit Duck, Chicken & Pistachio Terrine with spiced plum chutney and warm brioche.  Our mouthwatering mains offer exciting new dishes like our tasty Grilled Swordfish Steak, served with Parisienne potatoes, butternut squash puree, roast cauliflower and pearl onion, sautéed green beans, brown butter and bacon vinaigrette, as well as still offering you favourites, like ‘The Birch’ Chargrilled Steak Burger, in a toasted brioche bun with smoked bacon, mature Cheddar, tomato relish, gherkins and crisp lettuce, accompanied with beer battered onion rings and a choice of french fries or hand cut chunky chips.

Our Sunday Lunch Menu features our delicious traditional roasts and our Dessert Menu has new sumptuous puds to round off your meal.

Our menus also boast a variety of vegetarian dishes including our Chef’s Vegetarian Platter which changes regularly, offering a different selection of dishes each time you dine.

As our food is fresh and cooked to order we can cater for most dietary requirements, as long as you let us know in advance.
