New Winter Menus

It’s a new year and a new menu!

Our Head Chef Dan, along with his talented team of chefs, have created a tasty Winter Menu offering new dishes made from quality fresh ingredients.

So step in from the cold and warm yourself at The Birch with one our delicious new dishes, such as; Marinated Rump of Lamb, champ potatoes, sautéed green beans in garlic butter and rosemary  jus, or Braised Rolled Pork Belly, mashed potatoes, creamy leeks with wholegrain mustard and honey roast apple.

If you’re hungry and wish to make a real meal of it with 2 or 3 courses, our starters offer enticing options like Pan Fried Scallops, curried cauliflower puree, crispy pancetta, pomegranate dressing and port poached figs, or Blue Cheese Fritters, pear and walnut salad, balsamic dressing and tomato chutney.  If however you just fancy something light, some of our starters are also available as a ‘Lighter Main’ size at an additional price or make delightful light bites when paired with one of our side dishes.

And last – but by no means least! – dessert.  Let us tempt you with our tasty puds.  Who can resist Pecan Tart, maple syrup and Chantilly cream or Triple Chocolate Bread & Butter Pudding with vanilla ice cream?

Our new Sunday Menu includes many of these stunning new dishes, but still offers the fantastic range of traditional roast we know you love.
