To take control of the 360 panoramic simply click on the image and then drag the mouse in the direction you wish to rotate. The further you drag the faster the image rotates. Press 
to zoom in, 
to zoom out, the 4 arrows to "nudge" the camera in that direction, and 
to start/restart rotation.
